Notes:
This work originates from Picasso’s renowned folio Le Goût du Bonheur (The Taste of Happiness), part of Trois Carnets d’Atelier, published in 1970 by Éditions Cercle d’Art, Paris.

The folio comprises three sketchbooks created by Picasso between April and October 1964, offering an intimate insight into his late artistic process. The drawings were reproduced in their original format using the Dietz process at Dietz Officin Handpresse, Lengmoos, with the etched head executed by the Ateliers Crommelynck.

Issued jointly by Éditions Cercle d’Art (Paris), Harry N. Abrams (New York), and Carl Schünemann (Bremen), the edition reflects Picasso’s mature graphic language, combining spontaneity, expressive line, and technical experimentation. As part of this historically significant portfolio, the work represents both strong artistic importance and notable collectible value.
